ONCE UPON A PIE ...
Devised by Robert Gilbert
“Careful the wish you make, wishes come true, not free.” This musical comedy takes you on a wondrous journey through fabulous fairytale fantasies. When a Baker attempts to reverse a curse of the wicked witch, he calls upon the help of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame) and Rapunzel. But there’s more to these woods than meets the eye when recognisable characters start behaving in unrecognisable ways. From the tales of the Brothers Grimm, inspired by recent movies like ‘Shrek’, ‘Hoodwinked’ and ‘Happily Never After’, ‘Once Upon A Pie’ will delight audiences both young and young-at-heart.

HAMLET: THE MOODY DANE
A Shakespearean parody adapted by Robert Gilbert
Something’s funny in the state of Denmark. ‘Hamlet: The Moody Dane’ takes a riotous look at Shakespeare's best known play because, lets face it, his comedies just aren't as funny as his tragedies! The original play runs around four hours, and that's way more than the average person's attention span. The solution? Shorten it! Of course, abridging a work of literature solely for entertainment is often done with less than total concern for the original's integrity… resulting in a delightfully irreverent abbreviation, guaranteed to make Shakespeare cringe and you laugh out loud.
