Robert Gilbert BA(Education), GDipTchLn. Robert has over 17 years
experience
as a professional actor, writer and director. He has worked at Christchurch's Court Theatre, TVNZ, and Christchurch Arts Network. He was the founder and artistic director of Whakarite Theatre Company, The Performing Arts Theatre, and Excalibur's Theatre Restaurant. For the past 13 years Robert has been Head of Drama at Aranui High School. He has won The Best Director Award at the International Theatre Festival in Norfolk Island three times.

Vinnie Bennett - Actor

Vinnie recently starred in THE ERIN SIMPSON SHOW before going on to become part of the The Trolley Boys – the famous double act on TVNZ’s WHAT NOW. Vinnie played the lead role in Aranui High School’s annual production in 2010 before graduating from the Theatre Academy. He will play Te Arahi in PATUTUPAIAREHERHE, and reprise his role as the hard-edged Banquo in MACBETH.

Teagan Iti - Actor

Teagan is a graduate of Aranui Theatre Academy, taking out the senior theatre studies trophy at the 2010 prizegiving. She played a witch in the award-winning production of MACBETH and Horatio in the school’s parody of Hamlet, A NIGHT IN ELSOINORE. This year she will play Hinetahi in PATUTUPAIAREHEREHE and Lady Macbeth in MACBETH. |

Teone Kahu - Actor

Teone is already a celebrated actor. After winning top awards at the Sheilah Winn Festival of Shakespeare, he was selected to perform at The Globe Theatre, London in July 2011. His television credits include IAMTV, THE ERIN SIMPSON SHOW and one of the famous Trolley Boys on WHAT NOW. A graduate of the Theatre Acdemy, Teone will play Ranaharoto in PATUTUPAIAREHEREHE and reprise his award-winning title role in MACBETH.

Branden Massicks - Actor

Branden played Ross in Aranui’s award-winning MACBETH and Osric in the Hamlet spoof, A NIGHT IN ELSINORE. Branden appeared in Christchurch Repertory's production of HAMLET. He has taken Drama at Aranui High School since Year 9 and looks forward to playing the title role in PATUTUPAIAREHREHE and Duncan in MACBETH.

Kirsten Waru - Actor

Kirsten has taken Drama at every level since starting at Aranui High School in Year 9. She has played many roles over the years culminating in her outrageous interpretation of Gertrude in A NIGHT IN ELSINORE, the Hamlet parody. She enjoyed playing one of the evil witches in the award-winning production of MACBETH and appeared in Christchurch Repertory’s production of HAMLET. Kirsten will play Aroha in PATUTUPAIAREHEREHE and Macduff in MACBETH.
